I just wanted to share the students work with you.
One assignment was to build a dolls house and flash cards and write a lesson plan that used the dolls house to teach position language.
The assignment for the other class was to write a traditional story in the children’s local language (there are over four different local languages in Gambia and some classes have more than one native tounge). The story then needed to be written the same way in English.
I have made two into short video’s to share with you. The first is child appropriate – the Wolf and the Goats. The second, in my opinion, is pure gold, but should be watched by adults before showing children as the Gambian idea of what is appropriate for children is a little different to that of Australian’s!!!!
