Banjul October Banjul February
On Sunday Jane, June, Paul and I did the touristy thing and visited Banjul and Bakau, two popular tourist places. We went to the Arch of Independence (I also went there in February so I have posted the photos so you can see the difference) and then walked along the beach and saw the fish being cleaned and drying before visiting the market.
The we travelled to Bakau and visited the crocodile pond and then went to have beers with the other volunteers and watch the fishermen come in and the people collect the fish from the boats and sell them.
